Internships serve as one of the primary ways in which Taproot Gap Year exposes students to the informal educational component of our program. By placing students in a variety of relevant religious and secular organizations and businesses, we hope to identify and develop their gifts and talents while helping them gain both valuable hands-on experience and the kind of work ethic needed to thrive in college and the workforce. Our students will come along side established business owners, CEO's, and community leaders, as well as creative and passionate entrepreneurs and local start-ups, and they will see and experience first hand the challenges and excitement of real world operations.
